Martin Daniels aka Merlin
In his own words
I have always supported and respected our armed forces, I’ve appeared in shows at bases around the world, add my enthusiasm for motorbikes and the AFB was the perfect charity for me to become the patron of. I consider it a huge honour and didn’t want to just be a patron on paper. I’ve done several AFB 500’s and attend meetings and rides when ever I can. I have met some amazing people that I can now call friends. Keep supporting, keep riding. Respect. Martin Daniels aka Merlin.
Background
The son of the late magician Paul Daniels, Martin Daniels appeared regularly on his father's television shows. His subsequent television roles include presenting two series of Game for a Laugh and Lingo. He also appeared in five series of The Les Dennis Laughter Show. He has performed five times on the Children's Royal Variety Show and is a member of the Grand Order of Water Rats, which is the oldest and most exclusive theatrical fraternity in the world. He has since worked in radio, presenting a show for BBC Radio Lincolnshire, and performed in pantomime, and continues to perform magic on stage.
The AFBVC seek corporate/business sponsorship and donations for unrestricted designated funds to help administer and resource our charity.
This ensures that 100% of public funds donated to the AFBVC are granted to veterans in charitable need and other charitable organisations whose mission is in-line with our founding principles.
